Mr. Xu has published 23 economic books, such as China-ASEAN Joint Building of Maritime Silk Road, China-ASEAN: Cooperation and Development, New Business Opportunities in ASEAN-Tacking Action, etc.
Mr.Xu Ningning has been engaging in promoting China-ASEAN business cooperation for over 30 years. Many awards have been conferred on Mr.Xu, including China-ASEAN Cooperation Outstanding Contribution Award, Goodwill Envoy for China-ASEAN Business Cooperation and Chief Chinese Expert of ASEAN Business Award.
The China-ASEAN Business Council is one of the dialogue and cooperation mechanisms between China and ASEAN, and represents the business dialogue mechanism between China and ASEAN. The inaugural meeting of the council was held in November 2001. Zhu Rongji, then Premier of the State Council of China, attended and announced the formal establishment of CABC.
